For the 45th consecutive year, the Manatee Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller has earned the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). This recognition, awarded for the County’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), underscores a decades-long commitment to transparency and accountability in financial reporting. The Clerk’s Office also earned two additional long-standing recognitions: the Popular Annual Financial Report award for the 26th consecutive year and the Port Authority’s ACFR award for the 31st consecutive year. In addition, it received the Triple Crown award for the fourth consecutive year, an honor reserved for governments that achieve all three of GFOA’s top financial reporting awards, including the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award.
