Planned Parenthood to Launch Early Prenatal Care Throughout Southwest and Central Florida

The Giving Coast

On Tuesday, April 1, Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida (PPSWCF) will officially begin offering early prenatal care for patients in their first trimester. This care will be available for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy and includes services such as ultrasounds, prenatal lab tests, including genetic testing, and early pregnancy symptom management. The launch follows a stream of new services from the affiliate, including vasectomy care, IUD sedation, and infertility care. Prenatal care will be available at health centers in Lakeland, Kissimmee, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Ft. Myers, and Naples. However, the initial ultrasound must be completed in Ft. Myers, Kissimmee, or Sarasota. More information can be found online at PPSWCF.org.
