Food Bank of Manatee Combatting Summer Hunger By Providing Free Food For Families

The Giving Coast

In partnership with the School District of Manatee, The Food Bank of Manatee will provide free food to children and families this summer through the Food4Families program. Through this program, those in need will receive non-perishable food items to feed a family of five breakfast, lunch, and dinner for two or more days. Food4Families is provided free of charge to families in need. The food is purchased with donated funds, sorted, and distributed by The Food Bank of Manatee, a PLUS program of Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee. Those interested in supporting the program can make donations online at http://www.MealsOnWheelsPLUS.org/donate or by mail to 811 23rd Ave. East, Bradenton, FL 34208.
