It's time to clean out the garage and gather discarded household items, tree trimmings and other garbage and debris as Sarasota County hosts a free community cleanup in Longwood Park from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 19. Dumpsters for residential customers will be available at Longwood Park, 6050 Longwood Run Blvd., Sarasota. Appliances and car tires will be accepted, with a limit of four tires per household. Staff from Neighborhood Services will be present to share information and resources available through county neighborhood programs.
