Suncoast Black Arts Collaborative’s (SBAC) “Beyond Regional Boundaries” initiative continues its powerful exploration of Black artistry with the fifth exhibition in the series,” “Harmonies of Sound and Vision: A Celebration of the Improvisational Spirit and Classical Elegance,” featuring paintings by Donna M. Richardson, September 28–October 19, at Sarasota Orchestra’s Harmony Gallery at the Beatrice Friedman Symphony Center, 709 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. A reception with the artist is Thursday, October 2, 5 to 6:30 p.m.
