Visit Sarasota County proudly announces their new Board of Directors appointments and recognizes outgoing members for the 2026 fiscal year, which will begin October 1. Joining the Board for two-year terms are Cindy Moore, Regional Director of Sales at Lodgco Hospitality; Mark Sherwin, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota; and Kim Farrell, COO at Fox Lea Farm. At the tourism bureau’s September Board Meeting, outgoing members were celebrated for their years of service: Nick Mavrikas, Area General Manager of Spark by Hilton; Kara Morgan, CEO of Venice MainStreet; and Mark Gordon, Managing Editor of the Business Observer.
