Downtown Sarasota is gearing up for a community-wide celebration this holiday season with Downtown Sarasota Black Friday on Friday, November 28, 2025. The event, hosted by the Downtown Improvement District in partnership with the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, will feature free parking, exclusive merchant promotions, live music, raffle prizes and branded shopping guides and bags to make downtown the place to be for holiday shopping. This one-day event aims to bring thousands of shoppers downtown, boosting local business visibility and highlighting Sarasota’s thriving urban core as a hub for commerce and connection.
