Sarasota Memorial Hospital was named among the nation’s leading hospitals in Newsweek’s annual “Best-in-State” hospital rankings released today. For the third year in a row, SMH-Sarasota was the only hospital in southwest Florida to make the list, ranking #6 out of 26 Florida hospitals on the 2025 list. This year's rankings recognizes 700 facilities from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
