Grammy-Nominated Danish String Quartet Makes Sarasota Debut

Arts & Culture

Direct from Copenhagen, the internationally acclaimed Danish String Quartet makes its Sarasota debut on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Riverview Performing Arts Center. In their signature style, the Quartet will present Beethoven’s masterful String Quartet in B-flat major, Op. 130, paired with the monumental Grosse Fuge, Op. 133, and complemented by their own sophisticated arrangements of traditional Nordic folk music—creating a program that reflects the ensemble’s distinctive artistic range. Single tickets start at $35 and are available online at SCAsarasota.org or by calling the SCA Box Office at (941) 966-6161, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
