Pura Vida Miami is more than your typical all-day, every-day cafe; it’s a wellness destination imbued with feel-good energy. A smiling concierge beckons you into a space where food, lifestyle and hospitality converge into a breezy, coastal experience.
The new South Sarasota outpost skirts The Trail in a refreshed plaza near EoS Fitness. Cool wood and textured stone set the tone as friends share empanadas (baked not fried), remote workers nurse artisan lattes and gym-goers linger with post-workout superfood smoothies—all while pups doze underfoot.
Don’t imagine a grab-n-go, but a place to be and feel seen. Team members guide newcomers through the menu and top up water glasses before they’re half-full. Their attentiveness stems from a positive mindset of connection and belonging, where details make the difference.
The kitchen bolsters that care via delicious, nutritious food. Pasture-raised eggs, antibiotic-free chicken, raw wild tuna and organic quinoa anchor a menu that draws a decisive line at No Seed Oils. Salads shine. Take the latest seasonal: zesty parmesan and fennel shavings nestle atop winter greens cut with pistachio crumbles and a toasted sumac vinaigrette. The Kale Caesar zings, hinting of anchovy. Whole-wheat wraps teem with fillings like spicy salmon and jasmine rice. Pita chips arrive warm, crisp, and- yep- baked.
Families gravitate toward the “Little Lunch Bar,” a gluten-free kids' menu featuring nutrient-dense options such as sweet potato-banana pancakes and the Pink Paradise smoothie. Teens delve into PB Lover açai bowls after school. Millennials swing by for the Perfect Egg Breakfast Sandwich, dubbed “perfect” for balancing flavor with protein in a convenient bagel package.
Founded in 2012, Pura Vida has blossomed into a premier wellness brand with over 40 locations across Florida, New York and California. But each spot stays grounded in its locale. Omer Horev, Co-founder and CEO, speaks to the momentum of their second location in Sarasota, which “has already welcomed us so warmly.” During training, the team donated meals to local schools and organizations, city departments and area gyms.
“Each cafe is designed to feel like an extension of the neighborhood it serves—a place people can rely on daily,” Horev says. “The Landings represents that philosophy.” Catering will roll out soon, deepening those ties.
Between impersonal juice chains and hurried takeout counters, Pura Vida offers what its name suggests: a “pure life” experience of clean eating with warmth and service that anticipates.
