Local fitness center Jefferson Fit is debuting a new workout class called Jumple—a workout that instructor Anna Hura says is “a mix of fitness, movement flow and play. It’s energizing, empowering and genuinely fun.”

Jumple workouts, centered around cardio, use special rebound boots and combine jumping movements, strength training and coordination work. “The class is built around natural body mechanics, including soft take-offs, controlled landings, balance and core stabilization,” says Hura. The rebound boots reduce the impact of this high-intensity workout on the joints.

Hura notes that Jefferson Fit chose to incorporate this class into its programming because team members saw a growing desire among the Sarasota community for new and engaging workout experiences. Jumple, she says, offers a non-traditional fitness experience: “We’re always open to new concepts and committed to creating programs that inspire people to stay active in ways that feel exciting and sustainable.”

Since launching Jumple classes on February 2, Hura says that the first several sessions have brought a positive response and have grown in popularity quickly. “Perhaps the strongest indicator has been how quickly people want to come back. Even after the first few classes, repeat attendees and organic word-of-mouth interest have started to build,” she says. Hura’s goal in planning and leading the sessions is to create an approachable and accessible atmosphere.

“I truly believe in fitness as a way to bring people together,” says Hura. “It’s a place where individuals don’t just work out, but feel supported, inspired, and connected. That sense of community is what makes Jumple and Jefferson Fit as a whole, something special for the Sarasota area.”
