Each June, Sarasota Youth Opera offers a summer camp experience like no other! Under the direction of Sarasota Opera’s professional artistic and production staff, campers experience and study the many facets of opera, from performing on a stage to working behind the scenes, from music and acting to opera appreciation and production! Designed for all skill levels, our annual camp engages young people in the magic of opera. A typical day includes sessions in singing, acting, physical comedy, sets, props, wigs, make-up, and costumes, all led by industry artists, directors, musicians, and technicians. No audition required! Financial assistance available!
