Safe Children Coalition Celebrates Futures Reimagined During Giving Breakfast

Last week, child welfare organization Safe Children Coalition held its 4th annual Giving Breakfast. In addition to recognizing three "Champions for Children" and sharing inspirational testimonials from clients who have reimagined their futures with programmatic support from SCC, the organization raised nearly $270,000 and announced the completion of its Youth Shelter Campaign. SCC has raised nearly $10 million to build a new shelter for homeless and other vulnerable children in Florida's Circuit 12; the new facility is expected to be operational by fall.
