Sarasota Scholar Receives International Women in STEM Award from Zonta Club

A Sarasota woman has been recognized on the global stage for her work at the intersection of science, technology, and space exploration. Kayla Taylor, a PhD student at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona Beach campus, has been named a recipient of the 2026 Zonta International Women in STEM Award, a prestigious honor awarded to a select group of women worldwide. The award includes a $10,000 grant to support her continued research.
