Record Community Turnout at Ringling Bridge Run Supporting Sarasota Students and Teachers

On Sunday, April 26, the Education Foundation of Sarasota County hosted the Ringling Bridge Run. The 5K/10K and Fun Run, held at The Bay Park, served to unite the community to support students and teachers across the county. Over 1,300 runners, families, friends, and community partners showed up for the Education Foundation’s third annual run, which was presented by sponsor Lexus Sarasota. At sunrise, participants of the 10K and 5K crossed the iconic Ringling Bridge. The opening ceremony featured the Glen Allen Elementary School Melody Makers singing the national anthem, followed by the 10K and 5K. A free Fun Run was part of the Suncoast Remake Learning Days to promote connection, resiliency, and well-being.
