Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources received two national awards from the National Association of County Park and Recreation Officials (NACPRO) for outstanding achievements in parks and recreation. The Nokomis Community Park Improvements Project was honored in the Developed Recreation Parks and Facilities category, recognizing excellence in the design, development, and operation of the park and its amenities. In addition, Sarasota County earned a Park and Recreation Program award for the Agents of Discovery app, an innovative program that inspires engagement and participation. Learn more at scgov.net
