Embracing Our Differences Reading Day Reaches 9,000 Students and 523 Classrooms in Three Counties

In classrooms across Sarasota, Manatee and Pinellas counties, thousands of children gathered this spring around stories designed to spark conversations about kindness, resilience, respect, and what it means to belong. Through Embracing Our Differences’ annual Reading Day initiative, students, teachers, community volunteers and teaching artists came together to explore books that celebrate both individuality and shared humanity.
