HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital Awards Scholarships to Big Brothers Big Sisters Students

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is proud to announce the awarding of two $2,500 scholarships to local students who participated in the hospital’s mentorship partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast. The scholarships will help support the students as they pursue their higher education goals and future careers. The scholarship recipients were among students involved in the mentorship program, which connected HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital colleagues with local youth through meaningful one-on-one guidance, encouragement and career exploration opportunities. Throughout the program, hospital mentors shared valuable life experiences, educational insights and professional development advice to help students prepare for future success. The scholarship recipients, Haley Narine and Abigail Cormier, plan to attend college and pursue studies in the healthcare field. HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital remains dedicated to supporting educational initiatives and fostering opportunities that strengthen the health and well-being of the communities it serves.
