District Announces Leadership Transitions Effective July 1

Sarasota County Schools is pleased to announce the following leadership transitions that reflect our commitment to strengthening student outcomes across the district. These appointments take effect on July 1, 2026.Dr. Michelle Anderson, currently the district's Director of Secondary Curriculum, will serve as the Principal of Riverview High School. After nine years as the Principal of Riverview High School, Mrs. Erin Haughey, will serve as the district's Director of Secondary Curriculum. These leadership transitions reflect Sarasota County Schools' commitment to cultivating talented leaders within our organization.
