Detwiler's Farm Market, one of Southwest Florida's most beloved regional grocers, is coming to North Port in a deal facilitated by Michael Saunders & Company’s commercial division, MSC Commercial, which represented both the developer and the tenant.MSC Commercial Advisors Tammy Shaw and Susan Goldstein facilitated the transaction. Shaw represented Sentinel Fund in the acquisition of the Sumter Boulevard site and in lease negotiations with Detwiler's Farm Market. Commercial Advisor Susan Goldstein, who has worked with Detwiler's Farm Market since 2016, represented the grocer in securing its new North Port location. Together, their expertise and longstanding client relationships helped make the transaction possible. Detwiler's Farm Market will occupy approximately 53,500 square feet at a new retail center being developed by Sentinel Fund on Sumter Boulevard. The property closed on June 17, 2026, with the store anticipated to open in the fourth quarter of 2028.
