BookStore1 is hosting The Script Society, a limited-series collaborative play reading group led by Roxanne Baker. The event is Wednesday July 22nd from 4 to 5:30 and we'll be reading Jennifer Haley's Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom —winner of the 2012 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, and the subject matter of teens addicted to violent video games is very timely considering the Tic Toc Teen Takeover Challenge. Participants can choose to be a listener or reader. The event will be in person in the loft and you can stop by to buy the book which includes the gathering’s admission fee at BookStore1 Sarasota 117 S. Pineapple Ave Sarasota, FL.
