The Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties will host their annual “Champions for Children” Gala beginning with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by a delicious gourmet 3-course dinner, catered by Michael’s on East, Nov. 21 at the Ora, 578 McIntosh Road, Sarasota, FL 34232. There will be live auctions and raffles, and inspiring performances by Boys & Girls Club members. Black tie is optional. This annual, crucial and instrumental fundraising event will provide the necessary tools the organization needs to help empower local youth achieve their full potential. Individual tickets are $500.
