HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is now performing renal denervation, a minimally invasive treatment option for people with uncontrolled high blood pressure. Renal denervation is for patients whose blood pressure remains high even after lifestyle changes and medication. If high blood pressure is left untreated, it can increase a person’s risk for heart disease, heart attack, stroke, heart failure and kidney disease. According to the American Heart Association, high blood pressure is the leading preventable risk factor for heart disease and stroke.
