SRQ DAILY FRIDAY WEEKEND EDITION

Looks like somebody called a meeting… and everyone showed up! Nine pelicans, one beautiful stretch of turquoise water, and apparently a whole lot to talk about! Some are keeping an eye on the neighbors, others seem lost in thought, and a few look like they're waiting for someone to announce that lunch is served! I couldn't resist capturing this gathering of feathered friends. The sparkling blues and greens of the water make the perfect backdrop for these wonderfully quirky birds. "Birds of a Feather" is a celebration of friendship, Florida sunshine, and the delightful personalities of our coastal pelicans.
