The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County (DOH-Sarasota) observes Revive Awareness Day on Friday, June 6, 2025, and reminds residents that naloxone (Narcan) is a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Floridians can find naloxone for their community by calling DOH-Sarasota at 941-861-2900.
