Sheriff's Office Members Graduate Command Officer Management Course

Sarasota County Sheriff Kurt A. Hoffman is pleased to announce that three members graduated in Class XXXIII of the Command Officer Management Program sponsored by St. Leo University on March 31. Corrections Operations Bureau Lieutenant Jessica Evanish, Community Services Lieutenant Jesse Gieseke, and Information Technology Bureau Manager Stephen Venesky participated in the 18-credit-hour certificate program consisting of six courses over six months. The student's curriculum includes critical incident management, human resources, ethics, leadership, and other relevant administrative competencies. Saint Leo University's Command Officer Management program: Executive Leadership Institute was designed to provide onsite education that prepares law enforcement officers and employees to transition to command staff and leadership positions.
