The Move And Then
SRQ DAILY FRIDAY WEEKEND EDITION

Moved From: I am originally from the United Kingdom. My Profession There: I was, until I moved, turning $120,000 per annum into $5.2 million per annum profit over five years as CEO of Buckinghamshire Building Society. Friday Nights There: We have a Samoyed dog - a white Siberian Husky - so any free time we were usually walking him.
Why I moved: We had the option to continue with the dreariness of the U.K. weather or move to paradise – not a difficult decision! Now I Am: I have joined Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, handling the sale, purchase and leasing of commercial properties in the Sarasota and surrounding areas. Friday Nights Now: Volunteering at a local soup kitchens—at least, when we can get on the waiting list!
First Impressions: One of the things that struck us about Sarasota is the great sense of support for those less well off in the community. Biggest Potential Community Mistake: There does seem to be some negative press about those who are homeless in Sarasota, and perhaps we should try to become a little more understanding. My Vision: I am looking forward to developing contacts in the greater Sarasota area to become a successful capitalist here!
