Amore by Andrea, the new restaurant by Chef Andrea Bozzole located on Longboat Key in the Bay Isles shopping plaza, now serves brunch on Sunday mornings for the exceptionally reasonable price of only $29 per person. The buffet is spread throughout the large high-ceilinged dining room and features a dazzling array of Italian delicacies and breakfast favorites. The cold buffet has Air Dried Beef filled with a delicate goat cheese mousse and Vitello Tonnato, which is thinly sliced veal flavored with a creamy tuna sauce. The hot buffet is filled with homemade treats like sausage and peppers, chicken cacciatore, frittatas, bacon and lasagna. There’s a prime rib carving station next to the omelet station and with a place of pride in the center of the room a table laden with desserts. Andrea walks through the dining room checking and explaining dishes, while charming dining manager Tito greets guests and leads them to the sunlit patio or more formal dining room.
