Peterson Elected CFAS CEO

The Center for Architecture Sarasota (CFAS) founder, Cynthia L. Peterson, has been elected by the CFAS Board of Directors to the position of Chief Executive Officer commencing March 1. She has served as the organization’s board chair since its founding until January, 2017 and will now represent CFAS as its first CEO. After nearly a decade, Peterson is stepping down from the Elling O. Eide Foundation, most recently serving as the chief operating officer. During her leadership at the Eide Foundation she helped lead the establishment of the foundation, its library and collection, the new facility and the assessment and evaluation of the existing historical structures located on the 72-acre natural waterfront property.
