At Drug Free Charlotte County‘s 2018 Annual Prevention Awards Breakfast held October 26, 2018, GSAHEC’s Tobacco Program Manager, Xenia Rosado-Merced, became the proud recipient of the Advocacy in Action Award for her outstanding work in helping tobacco users live a tobacco-free life. Rosado-Merced has offered tobacco cessation services in the Charlotte County area for the last eight years. She is an active member of various community groups working incessantly towards the goal of a Tobacco Free Florida. Gulfcoast South AHEC envisions healthy communities where every person has access to quality care in our region.
