Ear Research Foundation has announced a $5,000 grant award from the Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s CCDHH Endowment Fund. These funds will be used to help support programs and services for the deaf and hard of hearing in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
Ear Research Foundation recently embarked on its “Elevate!” campaign to raise awareness about the importance of hearing health and message the need for the community’s philanthropic involvement in giving the gift of hearing to others. Elevate! will grow the number of hearing screenings offered to preschoolers and other partnering agencies, as well as the provision of treatment and hearing devices for qualified community members who could not otherwise afford this type of needed medical help.
