Propelled by their company-wide People and Planet vision, Enzymedica was delighted to be the Presenting Sponsor at the recent Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center’s (SPARCC’s) Amazing Raise followed by the Raise Roof Party. The $12,000 sponsorship however was just the start. Enzymedica launched an internal, grassroots fundraising effort. Employees had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for gift cards, paid time off days, and one employee donated their vacation home for a free vacation. This generated another $3,370 through their team that also took part in the unique and fun-filled event. SPARCC’s Amazing Raise consists of teams from supporting organizations taking to the streets of Sarasota to conquer tasks through a sort of treasure map, earning points towards the grand prize. Winners include the team that raises the most ahead of the event and the team that wins the race.
