SRQ Passenger Traffic for September Increases

For the month of September, passenger traffic at the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) climbed to 53% of the 2019 level after remaining at 43% for the past 2 months. Rick Piccolo, President, CEO of the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport said, “We are encouraged by the gradual increases in service and passengers as the airport transitions back to the traditionally busier season.  This past Sunday, we had 27 arrivals and 27 departures by our air carriers, our busiest day since the pandemic hit in late March."
