OWR is hosting an Equine Therapy group starting Friday, April 9th thru Friday, May 14th at InStride Therapy in Nokomis, FL. Equine assisted therapy has been shown through research to heal veterans from service-related physical, emotional, and spiritual struggles. Our program is specifically designed to address veteran specific issues through horses. The horses provide us with a unique experience to learn how to become more self-aware, regulate the nervous system response, be in the present moment, build trust, confidence, connection, and more.
