Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association to Host an Innovative Event to Help Hospitality Industry Hire Employees

Business

On May 18, the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA) Suncoast Chapter will host an innovative recruiting event that will allow restaurants and hotels to meet with community resource organizations that can help them connect with and hire future employees. “Traditional job fairs have not proved successful at filling our industry’s staffing needs,” said Dannette Lynch, Regional Director for the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA). “This unique event will bring together a myriad of career resources groups that have a workforce looking for employment with hotels and restaurants looking for the right people to add to their teams. Our local hospitality industry has so much to offer job seekers, and we hope that they will take advantage of that. This event is free to attend. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the event will begin at 9:00 a.m. Attendees must register in advance online.
