Gecko’s Grill & Pub has named Chef Mason Biener from its Clark Road location the winner of the 2026 Gecko’s Hospitality Group Iron Chef Competition, making him a three-time champion of the annual culinary contest. Mason earned the title with a creative menu featuring standout dishes such as the Bruschetta Chicken Hoagie, Gnocchi Shepherd’s Pie and “Is It Morning?” Steak Sandwich. The Iron Chef Competition showcases the talent of Gecko’s culinary teams across six locations, celebrating creativity, collaboration and the passion behind the dishes served to guests throughout the Suncoast.
