Airport Operations is monitoring Tropical Storm Idalia. The storm is currently expected to make landfall as a category 3 hurricane near the gulf coast of Florida. The SRQ airport is currently just outside of the cone, but we can expect wind and rain Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning. PLEASE SECURE LOOSE ITEMS, CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL, LUGGAGE CARTS, ETC., PRIOR TO TUESDAY EVENING.
